Aqua Lung has over 50 years experience in the manufacture of recreational diving and snorkelling equipment.

They wanted to introduce daylight into the high-bay manufacturing and warehouse areas of their facility thereby decreasing energy consumption by reducing the need for electric lighting, and increasing the quality and quantity of light available to employees.

One hundred and ninety four Solatube systems were retrofitted into the 60,000 square foot high-bay areas - with no disruption to the workforce. The newly introduced daylight displaced the need for the electric lights and photocontrols were installed to monitor electricity consumption throughout the area.

Aqua Lung noticed an immediate site-wide electricity reduction of 33%.
