Solatube dome & reflector
The Solatube Brighten Up® Series features our patented Raybender® 3000 Technology Fresnel lens system and LightTracker™ reflector to deliver an Effective Daylight Capture Surface (EDCS) significantly higher than previous Solatube models and nearly double the EDCS of other similar size systems. Raybender® 3000 Technology Fresnel lens system significantly increases the amount of daylight entering the tube aperture by redirecting low angle light that would otherwise have passed through the dome. The dome geometry maximizes light collection while providing a maintenance-free surface, cleansed by the elements. These roof domes are injected moulded from impact-resistant polycarbonate, TP(a)-rated, and incorporate UV screening up to 380 nano-meters to prevent discolouration from solar radiation.

 

Raybender® 3000 Technology Fresnel lens in the roof dome ensures that low level daylight doesn't just pass through the dome - it is redirected down the tube aperture at a steep angle to ensure fewer bounces and thus minimum light loss.

 


Solatube's unique dome geometry ensures maximum light collection - all day long, all year long.

 

The Solatube SolaMaster® Series roof domes are impact-resistant polycarbonate, TP(a)-rated, and incorporate UV screening up to 380 nano-meters to prevent discolouration from solar radiation.

 
Solatube LightTracker™ reflector, made from 99.7% reflective Spectralight Infinity material, the reflector clips into the dome to provide an even greater reflective surface available for effective daylight harvesting; it captures low level light, that may otherwise have passed straight through the dome, and redirects it down into the tube aperture instead, ensuring unsurpassed year-round performance.

Optional dome accessories

Security bars
This stainless steel bar inserts into the flashing
turret across the diameter of the opening. The
bar is fastened using rivets and prohibits entry
through the dome.

Dome security kit
The kit consists of six rivets with protective nylon
spacers which replace dome screws. The dome
security kit reduces the possibility of the dome
being removed.
