Solatube has been featured on several
TV programmes
since it was introduced in the UK.

Channel 4's Grand
Designs programme shows how effective a Solatube daylight system
is by way of a split screen shot of the Solatube dome outside on
the roof and the hallway inside the home. The roof dome is temporarily
covered and then uncovered to show the dramatic difference to the
amount of light in the hallway - a fantastic demonstration of the
vast amount of light that is introduced by just one Solatube.
Solatube also featured
on Channel 4's Ideal Home Show where the concept and merits
of the tubular daylight systems are discussed with leading Architect
Nic Halton. In one scene, Solatube's unique OptiView diffuser material
is filmed, clearly showing the 'multiple Fresnel lens' effect -
stunning!
Solatube's exclusive
Spectralight Infinity tube material is introduced to the UK on the
BBC's Tomorrow's World programme. The programme clearly shows
the science behind this unique 99.7% reflective material and demonstrates
the difference between this super reflective material and the less
reflective materials that are still used in other tubular daylight
systems. Solatube is still the only tubular daylight system manufacturer
that uses this 99.7% Spectralight Infinity technology - the new
material shown in the programme.
